Dear Sir

Re:     APPLICATION FOR A CERTIFICATE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE FOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

We are pleased to submit the attached application for a Certificate of Environmental Clearance (CEC) for the improvement of our highway access, on the appropriate form.  This project is intended to improve access to our operations, which is needed to accommodate the tremendous increase in traffic over the past decade.  Our project consists of two main components:

  • Widening and Repaving of the Highway between Trinidad and the River Styx, and
  • Replacement of the present manually-operated Ferry over the River Styx with a modern bridge.

We have paid the Application Fee of $500.00 and the receipt is attached.  We hope you will give this application your early attention, as the present traffic on the highway is very heavy and more lanes are urgently needed.

Yours sincerely,

Nick, Chief Tormentor
